This summer, Join other teen hackers in Cleveland, Ohio at our second high-school hackathon organized by high-schoolers! Hack the Land is a social coding/engineering event, where teen hackers/participants turn their ideas to reality in just one weekend. Whether it's 2am-debugging with cookies or karaoke, our ultimate goal is to host an unforgettable experience for participants

What is a hackathon????

Hackathons are collaborative multi-day events where participants (also called hackers) bring their ideas to life by building innovative projects from scratch using software development principles. Aside from just being coding events/competitions, hackathons offer several fun mini-events, educational workshops, sponsor fairs, and an overall great atmosphere to hang out in! How much does it cost?

Nothing! 

What should I bring???

Yourself! (ofc), laptop, chargers, and anything you feel would help improve other participants experience at Hack The Land!

What if I have more questions???

What if I don't know how to code?

Don't worry! We'll be running workshops throughout the event teaching you how to code. This is more then a competition, it's a place to learn, grow, and apply new skills!

What if I don't have a project idea?

We encourage people to ideate their projects at Hack The Land. It's 100% ok to not have an idea!

Can I attend?

Yes!!! Any and all high-schoolers are encouraged to attend!! We'll do our best to ensure all students are properly supported at this event.
